Nice shots, I had the same idea but in a TBM. Departed from EGTE and flew south west.

Yes, spectacular…but no rain and winds of only 3Kts on the ground in Southampton whilst, in the real world, a month’s worth of rain fell from the sky in a few hours.

Modeling precip seems to fall way short in the sim right now.
