ISSUE DESCRIPTION

SU7 Release: ALL analog flight controls (Yoke, Rudder, TCA) completely unresponsive in all aircraft:

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

Every time the Sim loads

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Have the TCA devices and keyboard connected

  2. Load the Sim

  3. Load an aircraft. Keyboard, TCA YOKE, TCA Quadrant & Rudder are all unresponsive for all aircraft

  4. I have already tried deleting the cloud save and recreating the wgs folder which did not work.

  5. Empty community folder - same issue

  6. Everything works perfectly in X-Plane 12 and ThrustMaster Control Panel/Windows and Hardware Settings in the Sim’s Control menu detects the devices and bindings correct, but none of the aircraft do

YOUR SETTINGS

Issue also raised via Zendesk under https://flightsimulator.zendesk.com/hc/requests/288049

When you delete the cloud save, and still have the sim installed, the sim would probably resort to the sim save when restarted, so the issue would still be there.

Thanks.

Any idea how to fix this issue at all?

I would try this.
Uninstall the sim, remove all leftover folders, delete the cloud save, reinstall the sim.
No guarantees, but if this is the cause, the above procedure will eliminate it.

Update / correction from my side:

Please disregard my earlier reports. In my case the problem was not caused by SU7.

My TCA Quadrant Airbus Edition was accidentally switched to ENG 3&4 mode with the physical switch on the front of the quadrant. As a result:

  • Windows and MSFS detected it as “TCA Q-Eng 3&4” instead of “TCA Q-Eng 1&2”,
  • the device image in Controls was replaced by a “?” placeholder,
  • the controller preset slots were set to “None”, so my previous bindings (flaps etc.) did not apply,
  • the throttle axes behaved reversed or erratically, and calibration did not work.

After switching back to ENG 1&2, reconnecting the USB cable and recalibrating the throttles, everything works normally again.

Sorry for the confusion. Hopefully this helps anyone else who sees “Q-Eng 3&4” in their controls list.

Moved to User Support Hub > Hardware & Peripherals as the OP indicates in the post above that the issue was not a bug in SU7.
