For anyone having the issue of online friends showing as disconnected, it took me a while to figure out but I found something that worked for me and for the first time in 6 months I can now see my friends as showing online and see them on the map.
They’ve always shown in multiplayer in flight when flying in a group but at the same time would never show on the map or show as being online.
I went into the clock settings in windows and set it to auto detect time and zone and pressed the sync time button. Thats it.
I saw this from someone else who had the same issue.
Then restart the sim. As sceptical as I was, it worked perfectly for me.
Do you have more information on the issue?
We were with a group of friends where one friend showed as “disconnected” while he saw me as “online”. Restarting the sim did not help.
Is the recommendation that we then all sync the time? (we are all in the same time zone)
