Today I was greeted by the notification that all my FS2020 purchases have successfully been ported over to FS2024. I clicked the Marketplace tab and indeed, all the good stuff from the old sim was there! But… All of it is now in the new sim! No matter if I want it or not! Any airport that has cause…

The banner at the top of the forum explains this. They have disabled non-aircraft 2020 content to arrest ongoing issues with the content present. They will be enabling the functionality for disabling/enabling this content with a patch coming the week of Dec 9.

NixonRedgrave: Well, over on a thread related to the delays to PMDG’s latest updates still not making it to the 2020 Marketplace. Mathias from PMDG said that their 737s have been pushed to the 2024 Marketplace without their authorization. PMDG has already determined their 737 and 777 have signi…

Topic is a fascinating read and I guess luckily none of my content seems to have been transferred. I decided to test my system with Paris, for which I had addons and it streamed quite well except for this image… with a few slightly misplaced boats. <a class="lightbox" href="https://flightsimulator-forums-cdn.azureedge.net/uploads/default/original/4X/d/3/c/d3c3a6e8fb628957d3d20504ecb33ef3bc5c1593.jpeg" data-download-href="https://flightsimulator-forums-cdn.azureedge.net/uploads/default/d3c3a6e8fb628957d3d20504ecb33ef3bc5c1593" title="Paris 3 Tour Effel Boats 2024-11-23 21_54_12-Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 - 1.1.9.0" rel="noopener nofollow ugc">[Paris 3 Tour Effel Boats 2024-11-23 21_54_12-Mi…

NixonRedgrave: It was a mistake, though, to tie it all up in such a way that the full Marketplace implementation includes the disable that we need now. https://devsupport.flightsimulator.com/t/will-it-be-an-optional-for-our-customers-to-download-an-aircraft-locally/11291/6 Looks like it’s i…

I find it utterly mind-boggling that we were always advised to try vanilla first when we encountered bugs. There was a pinned message from Seedy whenever a new update was released. And now it doesn’t even seem possible to go vanilla at all? I really would like to have a pinned topic where we could…

EGKK Gatwick add on by origami doesn’t work with 2024 missing all buildings with just a simple flat runaway. Don’t worry Asobo I will test the add-ons for you as we can’t delete them… So I have lost Gatwick. This add-on did not work in 2020 and they still passed it for 2024

FWIW it appears content can be blocked manually for now [image] Cannot unselect “streamed” packages in my library Resolved I might have figured out a workaround here. It’s painful, especially if you have a lot of marketplace 2020 content but it seems to have worked for me…

NixonRedgrave: We are only on day five and they are SO focused on putting out raging fires. So throw more gasoline on these fires by streaming everything from 2020 with no way to stop it. Perfect choice for bandwidth conservation and debugging simplicity.

[PXL_20241124_103939738.NIGHT] [PXL_20241124_103913821.NIGHT] Testing my 2020 airport add-ons Sumburgh EGPB and it’s not looking promising for my others either a massive headache for 3rd party Devs to sort . This is an urgent matter to let us choose.

Hi there, I am going to my Library and seeing 40 items designated as not installed and “N/A” (see pic). Is this normal? Are the same airports etc. now streamed? For some there is an option for more info and when I select I get the second pic. Is this normal? I am also missing one of the two airport…

I would say there probably not supported in 2024 because there 2020 core files. I will check my library and get back to you. It’s all very messy I want to delete all my add-ons and see how vanilla plays then decide what I want installed

All my FS2020 marketplace items now in 2024: quite a mess!
