Brief description of the issue:It started just a couple of days ago; it is the first time I remember it happens.
Throttles suddendly stopped responding to my X axis in my Thrustmaster T.1600M. They only respond when I go to idle on the physical slider and there it remains whatever I do with that joystick’s slider. All the other commands working fine (at least, I haven’t discovered any other failing). The only way to use throttle is mouse and keyboard. Lastly something even changed and throttles kinda came to life, for now if I put’em up, say, with the mouse, they steadily slow down by themselves in such a way that it becomes virtually nightmare to fly a plane. Figure out for example, trying to land a plane with these bewitched throttles!

Now I narrate some related issues that may or may not be connected to this throttle failure. The only things I’ve timely linked to this problem are a) Hours earlier I installed a free scenery enhancement in St. Barts from MSFS Addons.net. As I found some issues, I uninstalled it ASAP. And b) Immediately after that, I switched to DX12 just to try, and then I found I simply MSFS could not open anymore. I could open it in safer mode only and then, I re-switched to DX11. Then I recovered all functions EXCEPT throttle use in my X axis from my joystick.

Detail steps to reproduce the issue encountered: Not sure if it can be reproduced, but you’d have to download St. Bart’s enhancement program first, install it, run it, uninstall it, switch to DX12, re-switch to DX11 and see what happens, but I believe that it must be easier reviewing first other cases of throttle failure and how were they solved.

PC specs and/or peripheral set up of relevant: Already mentioned.

Build Version # when you first started experiencing this issue: I bought this simulator in September 2020 and it is completely updated. Don’t know where can I get the build version number… sorry.

Here are a few questions/ideas:

Is this with any particular aircraft?
Are you aware of the need to switch your bindings from Throttle Axis to Throttle 1 Axis in some aircraft?
Are all the pilot assistance options off in Assistance Options, and in AI Assistant?
Have you checked your throttle calibration?

MSFS has been known to change your settings without your knowledge, so you should recheck if you haven’t, to ensure nothing has changed!

DX12 is known not to work with a lot of 3rd party addons.
