We’re back…
FS Academy - INTERCEPTOR
As the sky darkens and the horizon fades, you find yourself at the mercy of the elements, unless you unlock the hidden world of instrument flight. FS Academy - INTERCEPTOR will guide you beyond the mist, revealing the invisible pathways that pilots rely on to navigate the skies with precision and confidence.
Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) empower you to keep the show on the road, interpreting the silent language of your instrumentation, which will become your eyes and ears.
From legacy gauges to modern glass cockpits, you’ll build IFR skills step by step, just like real-world pilots transitioning to advanced avionics.. Tune in to a range of navigation aids, including VOR, NDB and GPS to find your way aloft, before returning to Earth under the guidance of radio beams that direct you towards a safe touchdown.
INTERCEPTOR is an all-new, 30-mission training pack designed to get you flying IFR like a pro. Created by a real-world airline captain, this is the most authentic and immersive instrument flight experience available for Flight Simulator.
We use internationally compatible techniques and procedures to enable you to deploy your new skillset anywhere.
Don’t stay grounded when the rain closes in. Instrument flying is more than a science, it is an art. An unmissable piece of the puzzle for any professional pilot. Don’t miss this opportunity to hone your skills and open up these new possibilities. Demystify the dark art of IFR and depart with confidence on those grey and cloudy days.
The techniques you learn will stay with you forever, whether it be a lightweight Cessna or a heavy jet, upgrade your abilities and join the big leagues.
Take the first step towards IFR and embark upon an unforgettable and rewarding journey.
Your time has come.

Take a look at what The SimHanger thinks of INTERCEPTOR:
Watch a playthrough of Lesson 01:
Hi everyone,
Thank you for the incredible first couple of days with INTERCEPTOR. The response has been fantastic.
Couple of snags noted:
ADF UNUSABLE
It has been found with FS24 generally that sometimes the C152 ADF is not useable. Recycling the BAT and ALTN Master Switches (red, beside the magnetos) can restore functionality. It is understood this is a MSFS bug.
VOR NOT RECEIVED IN LESSON 01
Users of Navigraph AIRAC data will incorrectly lose reception of the JSY VOR on the ground. Please REMOVE your Navigraph AIRAC data using Navigraph Hub, restart the sim and functionality is restored.
LESSON 17
At the beginning of Lesson 17 (Parallel Hold Entries) the mission incorrectly detects that you have arrived at GUR VOR prematurely. As a workaround, please only start your 1 minute timing on TRK090 once you have actually reached the VOR.
The support page has been updated:
Thanks everyone!

Hi everyone,
I’ve submitted an update to INTERCEPTOR:
-Added guidance to remove Navigraph
-Corrected Parallel Hold Entry lesson start
-Fixed broken 2DME step on VOR Approach
-Minor UI correction
This is submitted and now we await Microsofts release process, after which you should see an automatic update.
Support page updated:
Also I flew to Jersey today and confirm that you CAN indeed get JSY VOR on the ground without issue IRL.
Happy flying!
