Brief description of the issue:
As usual, I imported a Simbrief plan but since the update all that shows up on the FS map was the departure and arrival airports. When I search for common waypoints to manually enter them, it cannot find them. I have restarted simulator after the update.

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:
Import a flightplan or request an IFR flight in FS. All that shows up is departure and arrival airports.

Managed to find the waypoints from my imported simbrief plan in NAV LOG. When I try to assign a departure gate, it deletes my waypoints from NAV LOG. I have no ATC ground options, only “Request IFR Clearance” and this now through Toronto Center. Once I request and readback, all I have for options are that of a VFR flight…select runway for takeoff etc. This latest update really messed up my sim. Again…very disappointing.
Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
Yes

IFR Flying is ruined, there are no ATC levels and the waypoints are lost.

This has me worried. Very few reports and an unusable simulator. I doubt that it will get the attention of anyone that can do anything about it.
In fact, you are not alone. I myself am just looking for exactly the problem and was even a little doubt, because I had despite google and intensive search hardly to no results. After all, here seems to be one who also goes like this.
It is not only that IFR is no longer possible, but also VFR by VOR does not work.
The simulator shows me that VOR to VOR is not available. In the MCDU of the FlyByWire A320 it does not show me any SID/STAR or waypoints in general.
In the flight planning of MSFS there is also only the option direct or upper airspace. But then only with start and destination airport.
The PMDG 737 still has all waypoints in the FMC. So it seems to be more a simulator problem.

Thanks for the response. Yes, I am experiencing precisely what you are. I wonder what is unique to our systems that are causing these issues. I really hope that ultimately a reinstall of FS is not necessary. It’s always a royal pain in the butt.
Guys, same problem here. Solved by removing the Navigraph folders from the Community folder. Seems like a problem with the Navigraph integration with MSFS.
Don’t know if it will solve for you as well.
Now I’m waiting for an update on the Navigraph side.

Ah, wonderful. I’ll try doing the same tomorrow. Thanks for the insight. Ironically, I just updated Navigraph wondering if it would fix the issue and it did not. I’ll take the folders out and see if it works for me too. Thanks!! Is Navigraph aware of the issue?
Same exact issue here. Per previous comments on removing Navigraph from the community folder, will Navigraph still work and communicate w/ the sim?
Hey all - Just found a fix that did not require me to remove Navigraph from Community Folder. Actually went to the Navigraph Navdata site and found there were mulitple updates there including two for PMDG aircraft. I clicked to add those updates (have to be logged out of MSFS sim to process) and viola, the issue is fixed…waypoints, sids and stars are back!! Hope this works for you all as well!

This worked for me, huge thanks to @Pedrones8160
The problem you all propably have, was that u guys did not uninstall navigraph correctly. You have to uninstall it via navdata manager. If you remove the folder manually, or create a new empty community folder, the issues above appear.
Nah, I don’t think so because I didn’t change anything on my system or simulator until the update from the simulator itself.
Removing the folders bring back the whole navigation. Now i try to install it fresh back to the newest airac.

I am also missing waypoints.
Same for me, no wp and no possibility to choose runway on for example ESSA. No frequencys, just possible to do a direct flight.
Have deleted Navigraph from my pc. Cant find anything nav related in my community folder.
I did have some navistuff left in a folder, deleted and now it works again:)
I also experienced this problem. I had navigraph for a while but canceled my subscription last year. After the last update, I no longer had any navairds, sids, stars, etc. in the sim, even though the airac cycle from 2022 had been working fine prior to the update. I removed the airac using the NAVIGRAPH NAVDATA per the instructions on the navigraph website that was supposed to restore the sim to the native NAVBLUE data…this did not work. I flailed around for a while and finally just re-subscribed to navigraph and downloaded the current airac and I have all my NAVAIDS back now…I will say that it took me adding the current airac, removing it and adding it back in to finally get it to work.
Would really like to know how you can get the sim to default back to the base NAVAIDS without have to resubscribe.
Hy!
I have the same **** problem as you! But I will not resubscribe… there must be a solution!
Moved to #community-support as all participants appear to have Navigraph involved. Use #bugs-and-wishlist only for stock sim issues, and not as a first troubleshooting step. Thanks.
