If your like me, my C: is my OS drive and I install nothing on it unless I have to. Please allow for the this community folder to be moved, which can often be very large, to another drive. Thank you.

This video shows how you can do it, but I haven’t yet had the time to try it. Others say it works, though.
I would say that we should have a way to do it natively in the sim, like you can do with the rolling cache location. Still gets my vote based on that.

You can change it within the sim. If you go to the My Library section of the market place and click on the gear icon next to the search bar it will open a new window where you can click on Browse and point it to the folder of your choice.

It’s true. You can set it in game as mentioned. Great news.
For me it reverts to C: on next sim restart. Gamepass PC std version. Maybe could write protect usercfg.opt
Sim does not seem to see anything in there though even though I can see files when I hit Community folder /Open.
Does it require to set folder and then restart sim(like 2020? Or will set and confirm load it?
Maybe I just need to try more addons but so far none have loaded or worked.

Just create an extension, that solves your problem.
Exactly same problem here, no matter how many times I install comunity folder on my F: drive it comes back to the default location on C: everytime I launch the game. Very annoying and useless for me since my C: drive is a 250 SSD reserved for system only. How can I bypass it with the extension you mentioned? Thank you for any help onnthis!

Take a look at this as shows another step that you need to do in order for the sim to see the change.
Running the store version and with respect to creating a new ‘Community’ folder when I created one (F: MSFS 2024) it creates the following structure…
F: MSFS 2024/Community/

This correct?
I also have 2024 installed on F: XboxGames/Limitless
The drive is a 4TB Crucial nVME drive with 2.77TB free
