There are several similar wishlists, but this is more extensive than any of the other wishlists.
Please allow users, in the vehicle selection hangar (transparent to having to edit a file), to create as many ui_typerole choices as they want, and then assign as many of those filters to each aircraft as they want. For instance, an aircraft could have all the following typeroles assigned to them “Single Engine Prop”, “Warbird”, “1940’s”, “Open Cockpit”, “Floats”, “Amphibious”.
I have over 180 vehicles in my hangar, and it grows every month. The current list, because of the horrendous UI, is impossible to sort through. Even though my monitor is a 55" TV less than 2 ft from my face, I can only see 6 aircraft at a time. It makes it hard to process which aircraft I want to fly. I don’t even remember all of the aircraft I own. At least if I could add filter terms to all of them, I’d be able to much more easily find the aircraft I want to use at any given moment. Currently, it’s just overwhelming and makes me not even use the sim the UI is so bad.
