Altimeter and airspeed stop working in PFD, G1000, Cessna 172

Hi. This bug didn’t happen in the previous patches but I notice it in this new patch. When I fly the Cessna 172, G1000, the altimeter and the airspeed just top working after a while. I raise the altitude of the plane and there is no change to the altimeter in the PFD. And the airspeed also stops working. Has anybody else encountered this bug and did you manage to fix it?

Edit: I changed the refresh rate of the glass cockpit from Low to Medium and it seemed to fix this bug.

Did you turn on pitot heat?

sounds like a frozen pitot tube but if you say it’s a bug…

I see this new bug also flying the Daher TBM930, but not every time, i did 4 flights, only one of them showed the issue.
I didn’t change anything on the refresh rate of the glass cockpit!

My altitude was only 3000 feet with the Cessna 172. I was flying above the ocean in Asia. There is no way pilot heat is needed because ice shouldn’t be forming at that altitude and for the location I was in, in Asia.

I think it’s a new bug with the refresh rate of the glass cockpit at Low. Anyways, the bug seems to have disappeared when I set the refresh rate to Medium.

I had this happen but I was flying at 10,000 ft in Flagstaff without the pilot heat on. I pulled heat and circulated the air and the instruments all began working again a few minutes later. No change to instrument refresh rate.

True but MSFS doesn’t model ice realistically 100%. It is simplistic, if OAT is at 0 or below and you are in a cloud it will ice regardless of altitude. 3000ft is a bit low though I agree unless surface was low. May be a bug with the low instrument refresh. I use med or high and have not seen this unless it is icing cond.

Well, since I changed the refresh rate of glass instruments to “Medium,” that bug hasn’t come back. So it’s some bug when you set the refresh rate of glass instruments to “Low.”

Looks like new bug,

I’m afraid due thousands of different problems between users now is very hard say where problem is. In case you changed refresh rate and all was then ok - BUG. I can only speculate if they didn’t implement all depended to refresh, in case of Ice can affect that. They ruin us, who will have taste to send that many bugs maybe again and also new…

I’ve also seen this happen in both the 787 and Citation Longitude.

Can provide videos if needed.

One of the mods in MSFS discord server had this same issue but in TBM. I saw it when he was live-streaming a flight.

Have the same issue. The refresh was already at medium. Set it to High to see if that helped. Seems to so far, time will tell.
