AMD has just announced their GPUOpen solution equivalent to DLSS, it is called FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR). Their solution does not depend on proprietary code, is open-source and therefore should be easy to implement on MSFS by Asobo. Their solution also works on AMD GPUs since RX 500 and even NVIDIA 1000 series and above.
