Known Issues
- Intermittent application crash or driver timeout may be observed while loading a saved game in Cyberpunk 2077 with Path Tracing enabled. AMD is actively working on a resolution with the developer to be released as soon as possible.
- Intermittent application crash or driver timeout may be observed while playing Battlefield™ 6 on AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370
- Intermittent application crash or driver timeout may be observed while playing Roblox Player (Car Zone Racing & Drifting) when task switching between media on Radeon™ RX 7000 series products.
- Texture flickering or corruption may appear while playing Battlefield™ 6 with AMD Record and Stream on some AMD Graphics Products.
- Radeon Anti-Lag 2 option may not be available while playing Counter-Strike 2 (DX11) with Radeon Anti-Lag 2 enabled on some AMD Graphics Products, such as the Radeon™ RX 9070 XT. Users experiencing this issue are recommended to use the Vulkan API as a temporary workaround.
- Intermittent system crashes may be observed while using some high-bandwidth HDMI 2.1 displays during display standby. Users experiencing this issue are recommended to use a DisplayPort connection as a temporary workaround.
Additional Information
- When downgrading to a previous version of AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition, it is recommended to use the AMD Cleanup Utility.

Well after blood sweat and tears I finally put together my PC build. It was a learning process but I got there in the end.
I re-installed MSFS 2024 (SU4 beta) onto my new SSD. I made sure to enable v-sync in the adrenaline app, and enabled Freesync.
Any tips on things to set up on Adrenaline or MSFS settings? In order to maintain a solid 60 FPS I need to enable FSR Frame Gen in in-game settings but this is at 250 LOD, TAA 4K. I am GPU limited in FPS flying over Manhattan

I’ve never used any setting in Adrenaline other than the default, with the exception of enabling Fluid Motion Frames for 2020 and early versions of 2024 until they added in-sim FSR3 frame generation.
At this point, I wonder if I could just install the driver sans Adrenaline.
RX 7900XTX w/Alienware curved 32” OLED @240Hz.
Same here using Adrenaline with only defaults on a RX7900 XTX.
I wonder the same.
In most cases I also leave Adrenaline at the defaults except in some older games I use Radeon Chill to limit the FPS to 120 equalling my refresh rate. I don’t need those really high frame rates and it lowers my GPU power and temps
I have a new RX 9070 XT so have bee experimenting with the Adrenalin settings with this v25.11.1 build.
First, unlike my previous Intel Arc 770, it seems I cannot use HDR on my 55" Hisense TV.
HDR is available and enabled in Windows for that display, and:
AMD 10-bit Pixel format is disabled as required:

AMD Color depth & pixel format looks OK (also tried at 12 bpc):
But my TV consistently shows that HDR is Off.
In regards to the other settings:
- I’ve enabled AMD Freesync (VRR) for the displays that support it.
- I’ve not enabled Virtual Super Resolution (VSR) as in MSFS my display resolution is the same as my monitor resolution (3840 x 2160). My refresh ratte is 120 Hz, so the Max Frame Rate Value is set to 60 (with AMD FSR 3 enabled at 2x that = 120).
- I’ve not enabled Radeon Super Resolution (RSR) for the same reason.
- I’ve enabled AMD Fluid Motion Frames 2.1, but have not seen any FPS difference between the in-game FPS widget & AMD FPS overlay, so may turn that back off if I see no difference after a few more flights.
- I’ve not enabled FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) 4 as it is not supported in-game (and I’m not sure I’d need it if it becomes available).
- I’ve enabled anti-lag, image sharpening and enhanced sync.
- I’ve left the advanced settings at their defaults.
I’m seeing around 100 FPS over Manhatten - this is with TLOD at 400, OLOD at 200 and FSR3 enabled:
I’d be tempted to just install the drivers, but do like the ability to enable VRR and tweak the color rendering. The downside is that there is a lot of additional “Fluff” included in the Adrenaline app, and installing it has caused an absolute flood of Windows security notifications as AMDIdentifyWindow.exe, AMDRSServ.exe, clinfo.exe and RadeonSoftware.exe repeatedly try to access protected memory or folders.

What type of cable to the TV?
I use a 8K DP to HDMI cable to get HDR on my 4K TV.
Check the specs of the cable whether it is HDMI or DP to HDMI.
For HDR, you may need a high speed 8K cable for HDR @ 120 HZ.

Connected with an HDMI->HDMI 2.1 (8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz) 48Gpbs cable
My monitor was showing HDR enabled when using my Arc 770, so I know the cable & TV can transfer / display HDR. I could toggle HDR on/off on the TV by toggling HDR on/off in the Windows-System-Display settings for the TV.
I also used DDU to completely remove all traces of all Intel / AMD/ NVidia GPU drivers prior to installing this v25.11.1 driver. I’ve also tried enabling it with only my TV connected, as the other two monitors are not HDR compatible. I suspect that there is some residual registry settings that have not been removed that is causing the problem, but have been unable to find a solution, as yet, on the web.
I do not see any reference to this in my RX 7900 XTX & 25.11.1 software.
I can’t see any reason why the HDR doesn’t display.
Look under global gaming experience:

I don’t think it matters as MSFS does not use OpenGL (being DX12), but I keep it off anyway (it was disabled by default).
You could also check the manufacturer’s website to see if there’s a driver for this screen that’s a bit more sophisticated than the default Windows driver.
and also check the color profiles etc. in the screen properties
Keep in mind not all ports on your TV may support the same specs to drive HD so I recommend that you check your manual. On my Samsung OLED TV, I have to specifically configure the device connected as a PC and turn on gaming mode on the monitor before certain features like VRR/HD will work so you may want to look at that also.

Yes - It’s the same on my TV. In my case, I’m connecting to HDMI port #4 that is enhanced (accepts 144Hz/240Hz signals) & game mode is enabled. VRR (Freesync) can be successfully enabled/disabled when toggled on/off in the Adrenaline app.
Good idea. There was new firmware for the TV (11/17/25), which I downloaded and installed. No change to HDR, unfortunately. There was no windows software available, and windows update has no alternative software driver for the monitor either.
