Whats this about anyone know? I have 7000 series and have not had any issues with night lights?

I guess it’s about this: Weird graphical artifacts around cockpit at night on AMD RX 9000 Series GPUs

Perhaps the RX 7000 series was a typo in the release notes.

Hmm…

…I wonder when that will be addressed?

I have a 7900XT and don’t have a notification for this driver. Maybe not filtered through to the UK yet?

The notes say it has already been fixed.

Ha! I’m dumb. I thought that was under the known issues.

Oops.

That’s the way I read it the first time too. Hahahaha no problem. Have a great day!

Apparently it hasn’t been fully fixed with these drivers. Perhaps AMD cleaned up the driver side, and it will be up to Asobo to deliver the final fix.

The exterior was fixed, but inside the cockpit everything is the same. I have an RX 9060 16GB.

nice should i try my other gpu 9070 non XT. last time i checked msfs 2024 was running ok, but racing sims not. My main is 5070 ti, was it too little of an upgrade, i am wondering….

That would be my guess based on trying the driver - be that an AMD issue, or something AMD has written specifically for MSFS to enable an outcome (both are possible and common) it has eradicated some undefined behaviour that was causing the worst of the bug, and exposed that there is also an issue to tune out in the engine.

EDIT: AMD did remove the reference to 7000 series on the web, must have been a copy over mistake
