Known Issues

  • Intermittent application crash or driver timeout may be observed while playing Battlefield™ 6 on AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. AMD is actively working on a resolution with the developer to be released as soon as possible.
  • Texture flickering or corruption may appear while playing Battlefield™ 6 with AMD Record and Stream on some AMD graphics products.
  • AMD FSR Upscaling and AMD FSR Frame Generation may show as inactive in AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition while playing Battlefield™ 6 when enabled on Radeon™ RX 9000 series graphics products.
  • Failure to install may be observed while installing AI Bundle components in some regions with limited access to HuggingFace and GitHub.
  • Model flickering or rendering failure may be observed in Maxon Cinema 4D and Blender on Radeon™ RX 7000 series and above graphics products. Users experiencing this issue are recommended to install AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.3.1.
  • Intermittent application crash may be observed on some models while running Blender on Radeon™ RX 7000 and above graphics products. Users experiencing this issue are recommended to install AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.3.1.

Anyone try this out with a 7000 series card in MSFS? Is this something MS/Asobo needs to enable as well, or should it just work right out of the box?

Also, does “FSR Upscaling” really only mean the resolution upscaling or does it also include AMD FSR 4.1 Frame Generation? Thanks in advance for anyone able to test it out - I won’t be at the PC for a while.

Asobo needs to support FSR4. Add Support for latest version of FSR - #272 by StoneyDuchess94

I wonder if it would be beneficial to create wishlist items specific to the FSR version - at the time of its creation, “the latest version of FSR” was totally different than what it is now, obviously. As a result, they may have marked this wishlist item as closed internally whenever they did roll out to (what was then) the current version of FSR.

Follow up question would be - is there any way to utilize FSR 4 within MSFS using external tools in the meantime?

Been a minute since I went down that rabbit hole - once MSFS introduced native support for FSR 3 I stopped looking into it, but will check that out tonight. Thanks!

Use OptiScaler. Don’t waste time updating the drivers if they’re working properly.

To each their own - I personally have always run the newest version of every driver without issue :person_shrugging:
