I use this thread to announce the arrival to the MSFS in-game marketplace of high quality player-controlled ships and boats from Marine RM.
My boats can already be found in the main stores through the links below and in this topic I will talk about the Sea Ray L510 Fly, Sea Ray L650 Fly, Sailboat Nostalgia and the development of the Havyard Class 842 AHTS, which will be released soon.
First, speaking of the Sea Ray L510 Fly, it is a luxury yacht with color choices, detailed interior with cockpit on the upper and lower deck, passengers, animations and multifunction tablet for lighting control and other functions on the boat. It has a navigation speed limited to 30knots and as Asobo makes improvements to water contact physics, those improvements will be added here.
The Sailboat Nostalgia is an incredibly detailed boat with below waterline interior accessible by the player. Every experience was thought of in the VR user. The boat has a maximum sailing speed limited to 30 knots and the sails are cosmetic, do not interfere with navigation, for now. I am developing an interaction between the wind, the boat and the sailboat to implement functional sails in the future.
The Offshore Supply Vessel project, a highly detailed player-controlled AHTS with working animations and all the features of my ships in MSFS. I will make him livery Siem Commander, Havila Neptune (These two sail or have sailed in the northern seas according to information from Marine Traffic), Stril Challenger and fictional paintings A H Camogli and Maersk Leader.
Among other developments, one of them is particularly exciting to me!
It was a request from my wife, I’m making a classic sail frigate from 1799, it’s a very difficult development, but it’s working! The sails will be figurative, the boat will have a basic propulsion engine, but the other controls will be original to the ship of the time. There is a lot of work to do yet, but let’s hope for it!
Here is a short video demonstrating some of the new features being applied to boats as of the new MSFS 40th Anniversary Edition update.
The water contact physics has been improved and new water spray effects have been added, making navigation in the game more beautiful and realistic. Hope you like it! = )
Hi everybody! I would like to talk about the next release after the Mega Yacht. This one, although ready since November, is being tested by the Microsoft team and this process may take some time, unfortunately. Talking about the current boat, here we are in front of one of the strongest and most versatile vessels today.
The Dual Fuel ASD Escort Tug, built by Gondán Shipbuilders, is one of the most modern boats of its type in the world, as it combines intelligent mechanics of two different fuels to handle temperatures of 20 degrees below zero in the extreme arctic. The system runs on LNG or diesel, thus ensuring operational flexibility and environmental sustainability.
The recobador has steel as its hull material and its two Wärtsilä 6L34DF engines produce 3000 kW each, sending all the power to two sets of azimuthal propellers. Its maximum speed is 15 knots and the mooring pull is 110 tons. At a speed of 10 knots, the steering force is 155 tons. A truly remarkable little one. The ship still has an operations crane, with a capacity of 3.8 tons and even a fast rescue boat, a Yamaha Outboard with 25hp.
The command bridge is innovative, has a 360-degree view and the ship is robust, 40.2m long and 6.3m deep, has accommodation for 8 crew members to navigate with great comfort and safety in the most diverse operations that the tug can perform.
