Oh I see, more confusion 
, I got my serial number from Aeosoft one and entered my activation key in the contrail and it installed..the only warning I got was Beta 2 has tobe installed.

This is on me, I read your post wrong, I thought you were saying you used Aerosoft One to get it.
You used their code with Contrail. My bad, thanks for the reply!

Did two flights today with the E170. Other than the known issue with the flight ID, the lights on the glareshield buttons donāt work, so you canāt see whether AP is on, etc., at a glance. The tooltip does indicate whether something is active or inactive, so you can still figure it out, at least. Other than that, everything worked pretty well. No issues with LNAV or ILS.
The light thing was a configuration error on my part. They work fine.
Did you import your simbrief flightplan succesfully (if so how?) or just enter it manually? Iām struggling to get past their workaround(s).
Iāve tried entering tail number (it wonāt accept this)
Iāve tried using default EFB to import flightplan (seems to do nothing in MCDU)
Iāve tried entering flight number in livery/identification section before starting a flight and I can get to the FLT Plan page that lists my flightplan but clicking on the yellow entry there does absolutely nothing/is unresponsive.
Hitting āApply Activeā does something (rotating disk) but then nothing gets imported.
I ended up just entering the flight plan manually, and it didnāt recognize the airways.
I couldnāt import either - had to put it in manually. And the FMS is still very unwilling to accept airways, it seems.

Iām not really sure what they mean to use the tail number to import a flightplan?
I think they mean that you change the tail number (when youāre selecting the aircraft pre-flight) to the Simbrief flight ID, which will become the default ID in the FMS when the plane loads in. I think. I havenāt tested this yet.

So this aircraft is already abandoned by the developer, right? months are passing by and we have not updatesā¦ this is unfair, we paid under the promisse to have constant product updates and the e-jets are completely abandoned.

I donāt think itās abandoned. Last word from them was that they wonāt update the aircraft till the custom FMS is released.

What if the FMS takes a year more ā¦ another 12 months nothing ?
Sure i understand no weekly or monthly updates ā¦ but come on ā¦ 4 months

Itās not four months of silence from them. If youāre on their discord, youāll see theyāve posted several recent development updates in the E-jets channel.
When are we going to get an update with the FMS on this series of aircraft?

Agreed, STILL WAITING, I will never ever purchase a pre release agian. With the hopes of a finished product coming.
FSS, if you can not finish this product, just say so.

They are apparently going to showcase the VNAV system at Flightsim Expo.
There is still hope for a completion.

I said so before, but the Expo is basically their last chance to scrape any goodwill still left - theyāve gambled by going all-in on the systems development the past few months, if they still have nothing to show for it even someone as hopeful as I wonāt be able to defend them any longer
And judging by their statement to cool it with the hate on delays theyāve recently released, the writing on the wall doesnāt say ārelease candidateā

Itās a year on since I bought this aircraft on the back of a promise of a summer beta with VNAV. Iāll be amazed if/when it arrives. Obviously the small print didnāt specify which summer. 
Meanwhile Iāve been using VNAV in an E190 in another sim and it works really well. At least I now know what I should expect to see from FSS, if/when it finally arrives.

XCrafts gave 3D model of their E190 and FSS supposed to do the systems coding. I think itās clear they have no clue how to do this.

Not tried their freeware ejets versions which I believe donāt?
