MicroProse is happy to announce that the B-17G for MSFS 2024 is now available on the Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace. Players who have been waiting for this release can now purchase it directly through Microsoft’s platform.
If you’ve been following development (and if you haven’t, you can always join our Discord server), you probably know the initial plan was to bring the B-17G to a more mature state before releasing an Xbox version.
However, after assessing the aircraft’s current status on console, we decided it didn’t make sense to delay the release. The B-17G is therefore launching on both PC and Xbox at the same time, with updates delivered to both versions going forward.
To thank the community for its patience, and since we were unable to release the B-17G in Early Access on the Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace, we’re running a time-limited launch discount during the first week. For one week only, the price will be reduced from USD $39.99 to $33.49.
