Just departed Los Angeles bound for Sydney. 13hr 30, 93T of fuel. Let’s hope my copilot stays awake!
Safe travels. What movies are on tap?
It’s a good movie called “sleep” . I think most if not all people have seen it
Let’s just hope you don’t wake up to one that resembles a scene from Castaway.
Well if it is, it’ll be the edited version as to where I’ll have my sofa, fridge and TV!
or wake up to your pc desktop! my worst nightmare!
AI co-pilot Charlie never sleeps, has a photographic memory for taxiways, and can see through cloud and fog. Just can’t fly. Good luck!
Good luck! That is a very long flight… taken it a few times from Los Angeles in the A380.
Just woke and so far so good, shes still airborne! No desktop as yet “Raybel2”. Charlie has done a good job so far “clayishcoast9” . Still another 1hr 30m “casebug” it is a long flight. Using the 787 for this one.
Try London to Perth that’s rookie numbers.
I looked at that route, so it’ll be my next long haul👍
Hi @GAZ340,
When you get the chance, please consider updating your topic’s title. Your title should be short, simple, and should allow users to understand the purpose of your topic without opening it.
Good titles are important as they improve the chance others will find your topic when using the search system, and when browsing through the topic feed.
You can change your topic title by clicking the pencil icon next to your topic title at the top of the thread.
Thank you.
Congratulations! The flight data at the end, is that from ORBX?
Likely PacX or SelfLoadingCargo. Looks like PacX to me.
I couldn’t think of the name. Is that a good app. Is it like Project fly?
I don’t think so. PacX and SelfLoadingCargo are “Passenger Simulators” and run in the background.
They are both good if you like complications added to your flights. I don’t use them really since I am concentrating on the flying aspects more.
Ok. PacX is through ORBX and what does the loading cargo do? I’ve never seen that advertised. Sorry to be a nuance if I am. And are both worth it?
They’re slightly different but basically do the same thing. They are not cheap and they’re worth it if you want that kind of added fidelity. It’s up to you.
I’m doing the cross the pond on Saturday, so after that event I’ll go ahead and buy them. I just don’t want anything to screw the sim up this close to flying.
