Anti Aliasing - White lines / Poor overall in TAA

I have set my Anti Aliasing to TAA and overall anti aliasing is very “meh” with white lines on the leading edges and some blurriness.

Exterior

Interior

Anyone know a workaround or a fix??

Seem to have resolved this now, using NVIDIA control panel I set FXAA to On, Power management to max performance, shader cache to on and threaded optimisation to on. My display settings are here and here. I am sure I can tweak this further and will post updates if I can get it figured out.

Do you have as well shimmering on airport building’s or clouds ?

Yes, looks like it, this fix seems to improve the actual aircraft interior/exterior and doesn’t have too much effect on the scenery.

Having similar AA issues mate, I too am on a 1080p monitor - using an AMD card though so I’m still yet to find some sort of solution

I do. I also tried FXAA in Nvidia, did not help much and I use Ultra settings.

Using 1080p and i have shimmering on scenery building. Also little lines or little islands on the water seems shimmering and aliasing. Trying to figure this out but no avail.

I suspect it is some sharpening effect. Im mostly seeing it in cockpit on white lines. Used to it now so doesnt annoy me. I can see how it is a bigger issue in 1080 tho.

I have a feeling that the graphics are designed for 4k and there you hardly see any stairs - TAA can handle it with decent performance. In 1080 the stairs are too big to be smoothed away. I also got used to it. Turning on FXAA helps a little but does not solve it.

Noticing it on 1440p but its not as bad. Its generally an issue on 1080p.
TAA works best with 4k.Have you tried increasing the render scale?

Yes I tried that but with the 1080ti the frames dropped considerably to where I don’t want to have them and the problem did not get away. With the Nvidia settings now it is ok - not great but ok - in other simulators I do have similar output so I am not unhappy with what it is now.
