I gave up and moved from multimonitor to VR. This way I can have spherical display (in 3D vision) surrounding me. Unfortunately I also need to learn how to find my cockpit knobs and buttons in blind (wearing VR headset) but I’m gradually getting better at this skill.
I believe that Asobo have a test rig running with multi-monitor views? (I’m sure I saw a clip of it somewhere).
I think it would be nice to have some feedback on how, and indeed if, this is progressing, rather than just stating “next year”. We hear a lot from the Devs about every nuance of blade theory/helicopters etc, but nothing about the second-highest item on their to-do list.
We may not all be cockpit-builders but many would appreciate the sort of options that are available in other FlightSim software. They developed their VR out of nowhere and I believe they can do the same here.
I have a triple-projector set up with all the warping goodies, but the sim itself has sat idle for nearly 2 years now as I can’t bring myself to go back to P3D, but maybe that will become the only option…
I remain optimistic..![]()
I also use VR and have adjusted to finding all of my physical controls. I like to use both VR and triples in sim racing, switching when I am sick of wearing the headset. VR is my preferred way to sim though. However, one of the benefits to triples is the better resolution, although the HP Reverb G2 is definitely acceptable.
from me, not right now
Can we talk about the big glowy tide pool lights on aircraft while we’re here
Real planes dont look like that.
