I paid through My credit card. I’m about ready to report fraud.
Aight fair enough lol
Is it me or it seems that Asobo is not paying attention to this issue? Since yesterday the topic has gotten more than 90 votes and it looks like almost everyone is having the AP issue… Please Asobo release a hot fix soon… you can’t always rely on the Fly By Wire team fixing your problems…
Honestly, the scenery has nothing to do with it. They could just revert back to the previous version of the A320 and other planes. I’m getting real ■■■■■■ off with Asobo, they just broke the sim and we hear nothing from them.
I’m all for the month update cycle, but I DO NOT want to wait a month for them to fix their OWN screwups! I feel like these last patches have been nothing but patches, to fix problems that occurred because of the previous patch! It would be quite comical if I did not spend $120 on this sim.
I honestly wish I did not buy this sim, and just went with p3d… I could have picked up the FSLabs A320 and I would be flying over my Holiday Weekend. But nope, I’m sitting here complaining on a forum and filling out another zendesk ticket, with n responses, just marking the ticket as solved. I get the system and how solved just means that it has been recorded, but that is a very confusing term for many that think it will be “solved” in the next update…
Anyways, I’m wrapping up another long rant of mine… Have a happy turkey day! I will be reinstalling my other sim so I can at least load up an after dinner flight tonight.
I don’t think FBW are going to be able to fix this one for Asobo and I don’t expect Asobo is going to do much about a bug with 100 votes. Most of the latest busted A320 topics in the Airliners subforum have more posts then any of the associated bug report topics in this subforum. It’s crazy. I mean, the plane is 100% useless right now unless you want to hand fly fully, which is a bit like driving a Tesla from LA to Las Vegas with your feet.
You said it so well, it’s all said
Especially when a lot of us don’t even use FBW because we try not to install 3rd party mods.
I have the same issue, 12GB later and I thought and hoped that it would probably fix alot this time but Asobo devs just keeps breaking stuff.
MS and Asobo you guys all need to sit down, talk through a emergency press release, admit that you released the game in a unfinished state and compensate all of us “Game testers” futher down the road.
We expected a functuning core game and somewhat stable platform that you guys could build from but that is not whats been delivered
If Austin Meyer ever felt threatend ny MSFS2020 he can now open this forum and watch the ■■■■■■■■■ after each update
Please Asobo and MS, stop all dev of new content - airport, planes, and and any new discovery series! we don’t want that anymore or just not right now! just fix the core of the game and all systems!
if its not INOP it’s broken or about to get destroyed by a patch, Asobo and MS start communicating and be open to the community
The fact they don’t even say sorry or acknowledge it blows the ■■■■ out of me. I’m steaming hot.
I’m sure X-Plane is actually gaining customers thanks to MS marketing flight simulators to an entirely new demographic, and at the same time, releasing something so substandard in terms of actual simulation.
Such a s show… so tired of this ■■■■.
@op, can you edit your post and actually explain what issues? last night in dev qa, the devs said this over 5 times, that they need to know what are the issues that people are having.
I actually think the devs don’t have the time to fly the a320 and there are no testers to tell them what is wrong. and just saying that the a320 AP is broken will not fix anything.
Someone needs to make a video, explain what is broken and how the AP broken and how it should behave properly.
edit: Also i am convinced that the devs are not playing the same game we are. last night’s qa session they talked for over 5 minutes how they fixed the ap issues and how the aircraft won’t climb and descend fast anymore but it is even worst, surely it’s not the same game they are talking about?
Yeah, FBW has said multiple times that they have not had success in modding the autopilot system yet. If they had all the accesses to the files, this could easily be a study level simulator, with their expert coding and real world A320 pilot input.
Again, there are not enough good things that can be said about the awesome job FBW is doing for this plane. Just a shame all that work is wasted on them always scrambling after an update.
You are definitly right!
It‘s time to make the core right function and not prettyer the Sim with additional Material wich is secondary and can be published when core is fine.
Maybe a Information to Airbus can speedup their doing to solve the Problems of the A320
FBW did it again! I just installed the latest development version and the autopilot was working perfectly! I started from cold and dark, set up the INIT and PERF pages on the MCDU, did every usual procedure and after take off engage the autopilot and it was working as expected Asobo needs to hire FBW team
Keep bumping this to the top, this critically needs to be fixed. This is just the Airbus guys, I haven’t even started ranting about the PREMIUM Boeing aircraft yet…please give us stable aircraft, then you never have to look at them again and it can be left to the 3rd party. But releasing this either without testing, or knowing it was broken is just wrong, no matter what way you look at it. No acknowledgment, no apology, just we are going to do what we want and you are going to have to put up with it…not a great business model IMHO.
I am going to step down from my soapbox and try this update. Thanks for letting us know! Those FBW guys are great! Will report back here…
Say… I going to miss out the VATSIM event this coming weekend…
The only problem is that the swaying from left to right is still present… however the AP is working, at least some progress from FBW
Same here… hard left turn to nowhere every time I tried to engage AP. Tried changing dead zones, but that didn’t work. It flies fine on manual via the stick. It’s the AP that’s f#*ked!
