Any way to disable snow?

Has anyone found a way to disable snow completely while remaining in live weather?

Im ■■■■■■■ sick of having halve of switzerland covered in snow when flying vfr during summer and the wishlist items to decouple snow from live weather are going nowhere. Currently Im just flying with weather presets but for online flying temperature, qnh and winds have to be manualy set up to match live weather and kept current during longer flights, wich is really annoying, so has anyone found a config file or the texture files where snow could be disabled? Or is there some kind of snow exclusion so one could create a scenery removing snow from all of seitzerland?

There is no such option for Live Weather but a wish exists:

I would find it to be extremely useful to decouple the “snow on the ground” setting from the rest of weather. This would allow for the snow on the ground to be changed and still keep the live weather setting. Where I live, the amount of snow on the ground doesn’t necessarily align with the year. Unfortunately, there are no options at this time (natively) however there are third party apps that can help / resolve the issue.

The main reason why I purchased Active Sky is to get Live(ish) Weather conditions while not having to deal with snow in the summer heat.

It’s absolutely ridiculous how this significant issue is being ignored while a simple snow toggle would be such an easy solution.

Sadly, only option was to change months / weather manually.

The same problem is in Austria, for example around Innsbruck, please Asobo make the snow coverage switchable, because it looks like the reliability of the snow coverage cannot be fixed so quickly.

May 2025 FS2024 SU2 and there is snow around LOWI Innsbruck on 500m, but in real life snow is only over 2000m. The problem has existed since 2020, I think it will probably never work properly, so the snow cover should be switchable
