Anyone else's game crashing non-stop?

I tried everything, removed all mods, even uninstalled logitech’s radio driver as I thought that might be causing it. And it did stop the crashing to desktop, but then anytime I try to pop out an instrument the game freezes. TF is up?

Yes… yes it is. Every flight. I removed all my mods… I did a flight earlier for an hour and no crash. So who knows. It sucks.

Stutters, freezes and later CTD.
Never had any issues like this since day 1.

So they’ve fixed a few CTDs and introduced a few new ones. I’m not at all surprised by that.

Yep, happening to me too. First flight after the update, crashes. Load the game up again, had to restart my flight and boom, game crashes again.

I get occasional crashes to the desk top when I am creating a flight plan inside the sim on the world map. It usually happen when I hit the FLY button, then boom, unconditional branch and link to the desk top. Only happens every so often, but with the reload times it’s a pain to start over.

It’s happened to me only once yesterday after the plane suffered from excessive stress doing the scheduled tour along the east coast of the U.S., as the black screen came up, I chose to restart the flight and right after hitting the button, the CTD happened.

yep fix 3 problems, then make 10 more problems! back to X Plane 11 for me! ill try again on the next patch

Constant crashing on the new East Coast Flight Tour!

CTD every time I hit the return to main menu.
Edit: I emptied out some add ons I had in my Community folder and it stopped crashing. I had just the Paderborn Airport, an add on IFR tutorial package and some add on landing missions. I subsequently re-downloaded Paderborn and it’s all working fine, will re-install the others tomorrow and see what happens.

I mean, msfs SHOULD NOT be having the same bug reemergence ratio as Star Citizen.

…One is alpha, the other is not.

Very true. I consider Star Citizen a big scam. I’m not quite there yet with MSFS.

Agreed, but not being able to complete a flight because the game might crash at any time is the opposite of anything remotely enjoyable. The game already has known obstacles, load time, flight setup, etc. To have CTDs smothered on top is a deal breaker. Specifically the deal where I paid 100+ dollars to play a flight sim, not to develop paranoia about the system it’s running on. I do hope the team is more careful about top-tier bugs like this in “stable” releases going forward.

My stutters and freezes were cured by emptying the cache and keeping it turned off.
I had to do both, emptying the cache alone, I still had stutters.

My game crashes regularly and I am on the Xbox Series X does anyone know a fix?

MSFS looks like a real CTD simulator. Worth 5 stars

Mine didn’t on launch day, I had a quick flight from Exeter to Salcombe using Superspud’s third party scenery on flightsim.to and it was fine.

Yesterday I kept getting crashing a few minutes leaving Exeter airport. The only things I’ve done differently from the night before was turn AI traffic off, (it was on the night before and no issues) and switched off motion reprojection on the OpenXR settings for the Reverb G2.

My gut feeling is telling me its the motion reprojection, I’ll try again tonight. I did also add back in the We Love VFR and Bijan Season mods but I suspect its the reprojection being disabled that is causing it…

So sick of this sim’s issues! Wont be in any rush to purchase more MSFS Sims!

In the six months I’ve been serious about playing this, I’ve had exactly two CTD’s.
One caused by an nVidia driver, the other caused by a Reshade filter.
Both easy fixes.

I really feel for all the folks here struggling with CTD’s. I guess I should be grateful my system is tuned to run the sim really well.
