When I attempt to make a purchase, it gets stuck calculating sales tax. I’m not able to change my payment method either. Is this just me or has anyone else experienced this today?

I haven’t seen any Marketplace issues today.
If the issue continues, I would recommend submitting a Zendesk support ticket.
MSFS24 on my PC. I too can’t buy anything.
I click BUY but it doesn’t proceed and just sits there doing nothing. Nothing happens when clicking Change in the payment method box either.
I’ve updated the xbox app, restarted the PC, changed payment methods, signed out and back in. Not sure what else to try.

Same here. Stuck on calculating tax.
Can’t purchase anything. Calculating sales tax issue for me as well. Hopefully they fix it soon.
Problem is gone for me! Might have been some server issue as I didn’t do anything but wait. Hope you all can purchase stuff again too!

If you use a VPN connection , probably you have to disconnect it ? That solved my problem.
I’m using XBox and Marketplace purchases will not work. There is £40 credit in my XBox Account from 2 redeemed vouchers and when I try to purchase an A340 (£8.49) from the Marketplace I get an error that says there is not enough funds and you need to add money.
Just looks like the game doesn’t recognise the XBox Account balance. Tried with 2 different games (Rocket League & FC26) and purchase work fine.
Any ideas? I’ve tried signing out and soft reset of the XBox. Thanks.
Do you need to convert your Xbox credit into the marketplace currency first maybe?

I would ask through the Microsoft Zen Desk on their flight sim website. They’re pretty fast with responding!
