Anyone up to Develop a Hand Held Radio, Menu Pull down

Anyone up to Develop a Hand Held Radio, Menu Pull down , usable with ANY aircraft or Vehicle. or Broomstick (COM3)

Maybe in 2024

I don’t believe there are any available for MSFS so far ??

Who is going to be the 1st to corner this open market ?

Seems like a good candidate for a mobile Android / iOS app!

Don’t know what I’d use it for though hehe

The same thing that you would use it for in RL.

  • Communicating with ATC on the ground, without flattening you plane’s battery, or having to have the engine running., burning Gas & $$$$s.

  • In case your plane’s radio fail (for whatever multiple reasons)

  • To take in a Plane that does not have Radio, or only has limited one radio, and no Nav radio.

  • Just because it would be cooler to have that just ANOTHER addon Airport,
You can use this hand held in any plane and on every flight

I would also be good, to have as an iphone/Android app, which would enable you to change your frequencies inflight on networks like Vatsim/Poscon without having to use the in-sim comms. And the pop-up woudl show you all the online controllers while in VR too…. Oh if only I knew how to code….

It’s much better to “Design” and then let the Coding Grunts implement in code, what you have designed.

Isn’t what you have described the “Vatsim Pilot Client” ??

Doesn’t work in sim, such as in VR. While vPilot is good, I have to have it open in a separate screen, I would have to take off the headset tp double check frequencies.

Actually, it does: GitHub - daveblackuk/VSR: Vatsim Radio (VSR) - MSFS 2020 toolbar app for VATSIM

Looks good… maybe one thing it “may” lack for VR, is a Virtual keyboard to enter text etc…

or maybe a VR setup automatically can evoke a Virtual keyboard on the Screen ?
Not ventured into VR (Yet)
