So live in two locations. Built a second PC to play flight sim but it is an older PC. When I login the FS it sync the settings from my other PC. One PC has a 3080 and the other a 1080ti so this causes issues.
Anyway to turn it off?
Or do I need to purchase another copy under a different microsoft account?
You do not have to disable cloudsave and i do not know if you can
Running pc seperatly no problem to have one copy of the game but if you run both on
the same time, than it is better to buy another copy and buy it on another gmail or hotmail account and steam or xbox account.
If running pc’s independantly
You should have an option to choose from like use cloud save or save on this pc
Always choose the one that is saved on the pc, for it always sends this to the cloudsave when exit,
But on both pc choose the file that is stored on pc
Have a similar issue with the steam version of the game. For some silly reason the cloud sync settings also sync graphics settings as well as the other settings. Unfortunately when I disable cloud saving on steam, it reenables itself every time.
Msfs configs should be in such a way, user/player info should be separate to graphics settings.
If the only differences between the PCs are the graphics settings, then it should be possible to have a separate configuration on each PC. When MSFS exits, it writes the current graphics configuration to the MSFS LocalCache folder into the UserCfg.opt file. There should be one file on each PC; that is, this file shouldn’t be shared. As far as I know, none of these settings are stored in the MSFS cloud.
