Approach Transition

When using the Worldmap you only have the ILS approach listed. For example ILS26. But in Real world you have it with different Transitions, connecting Star ans approch.
How does the SIM choose the Transition?

Hi
Pretty sure the world map does
Check your filter settings and choose a ILS low or high route
For me the world map does show SID and STARS with alternate transitions…the only thing is the MSFS map does a pretty poor way of displaying them ….usually alternate grey lines from the various transitions

It’s why I use LNM and/or Navigraph tools as these display the transitions much better and make it easier to choose an applicable one to match the chosen ILS

The Problem is when you Import a Flightplan from Simbrief you can’t choose a Transition in the map without changing the whole flightplan. You can only use the dropdown box

The same problem happens with SIDs with multiple transitions. User selected transitions are not available for SIDs and STARs. The flight planner AI might choose a wrong transition… Sometimes it is possible to add the transition waypoint that won’t mess up the flight plan. Very frustrating! I always check the flight plan in the FMS to make sure the proper transition is used. If not, I’ll correct it.

still not fixed

It’s unclear what is “not fixed.”

If it’s importing a plan from Simbrief, contact Navigraph. If it’s stock NavData and the World Map is not showing SIDs and STARs at an airport where it should be, let’s clarify which airport and approach.
