Had a compulsory update today when I started MSFS2020. It was approx 500mb. Was this a hotfix of some sort? There were no notices, and can’t find any notice about it in the forum. I was up to date two days ago when I downloaded the latest world update, The Caribbean WU XVI.
I use PC not Xbox.
I just started the sim after seeing your post and I didn’t receive an update. But I’m on PC. Can’t speak to XBox.
I am on PC as well.
Pretty much every time there’s been an unannounced patch, it’s just nav data.
Personal Comments and Observations
The Sim Installer performs an integrity check on core files upon every start. If files are missing/damaged, then it reinstalls.
Thanks, this is probably the case, as no one else received it. It was working perfectly well after I installed WU XVI, something may have happened when I shut it down.
