This was my thought it legit stops pretty much instantly doing that
VRAM issue is certainly not fixed in SU-2 beta 1.4.11.
I am still getting loss of performance as soon as my VRAM usage goes above 7Gb of 11Gb max, which occurs on most flights, especially in airports.
So what do they think theyâve fixed?

Read the blog!
Nice to see external lights barely visible during daytime is âin progressâ to be fixed for SU3, bit of a wait but happy.
Itâs more takeoff, but in the thread for this issue there are people posting screenshots of runways that are 400ft that theyâre expected to takeoff from
Good to see the Feedback Snapshot and Wishlist. Thank you for providing that.
I see the 2024 Marketplace update still does not display the developer, and therefore is still practically useless. Iâm not sure how long it should take to think about doing something for FS24 you already do for FS2020, but this seems excessive. Iâm not going to buy the sim just to see who the product is from. Please show the developer.
Also, is VRAM really fixed? This is one of the major hangups for me buying the sim.
Of course I read it! The reason for the question is because nothing has been fixed in the beta yet!
Amen to that. I will not buy Marketplace items if I donât know who the developer is.
Good to know. Thanks!
I donât have the sim. Iâm not buying the sim until I see enough improvements on the alpha release that Iâm satisfied itâs a stable platform. Part of what will draw me over is the add-ons, and so I am keeping track as best I can. Only being able to see the developer in-sim does me no good.
PC-12 pressurisation is not fixed and VRAM usage is not fixed either (16GB is not enough in some cases). It remains exactly the same as in previous updates. Iâm starting to get tired of development
I am not sure the Vram fix has been released. I havenât noticed anything about it in the release notes and the issue is still bug logged.
My Personal Comment & Observation
Just a thought:
The âFixed - SU_02â tag for bugs may not mean âfixed in the current Beta Buildâ (currently v.1.4.11.0).
For some bugs, it may be that the bug has been fixed, but in a subsequent build that we have yet to receive.
4.12 Update
How did you do this??? Amazing unbelievable ⊠I am so impressed on Xbox. Flying through London, flying through frankfurt, textures much much better than ever. No freezes anymore so far. I just say thank you guys. I didnât expect that great quality on a console. Great job done ! Please freeze the status ![]()
Also glad to see the extensive overview of the bug status. Clearly a lot of ground has been covered so thatâs very positive to see. I grumble often, so worth saying something positive about 2024 for once⊠![]()
I am still staying firmly rooted in 2020 until everything I want to use has been officially made compatible and updated, and all teething issues ironed out within 2024. With the platform receiving significant updates, some developers are holding off with their updates, for good reason.
After refunding FS24 shortly after launch, I had another go with SU2 via gamepass recently (always VR) since most of the big VR bugs are fixed now, and also because I got a 5090 and I felt it wasnât worth trying FS24 again in VR with a 4090, since the performance drop is huge.
Well, it runs a lot better, but I had one flight where it simply ate up 32GB of VRAM for no apparent reason and kept going with the system RAM, it was actually up to 33GB and turned into a slide show!
Absolutely ridiculous, this thing is still not ready for the big time. FS20 is still where itâs at for VR imo. Not to mention the âcanât click anything in the cockpitâ bug is still there in full force. How they managed to implement quad views before fixing the MOST BASIC OF BASIC mechanics is way beyond me.
But VRAM usage is âFixedâ ![]()

Feel free to ask who the developer is for any aircraft in the sim. In my case itâs the Premium Deluxe version. You can find the list of planes and airports in that version with a bit of internet searching.
This actually gets me thinking I might do the community a favor and post a list of all the planes and airports, showing who the developers are. Itâs up to you to form your own opinions about whether buying from those developers is worth the money.
