Archaic Air is a virtual airline built around history.
Fly any route, any aircraft, or step into our historical Series, each focused on a specific campaign or period. The Evolution of the Egyptian Pyramid, Thuthmose III’s campaign to Megiddo, the Persian Wars, and the Battle of Normandy are already in place, with additional series in development including The Peopling of the Americas, the Gallic Wars of Julius Caesar, and the Life of Alexander the Great. These flights will provide you with precise waypoints so you can see how a battle unfolded in the exact location it did, where each army was positioned, and various sites of interest. Trace the development of civilization, visit exact locations of ground-breaking archaeological sites, or follow the movement of massive armies through a campaign.
The CEO’s background in History and Egyptology, including fieldwork in Egypt, is carried forward here through a focus on accurate route design.
Flights are built to follow real movement across terrain, bringing you over locations that still preserve the layout of events, battlefields, routes, and archaeological sites. Flight plans include defined waypoints and detailed briefings so you understand what you are seeing at each stage.
The system extends beyond VFR. Long-haul flights move you into the region, regional legs position you closer, and from there you transition into low-level work using GA aircraft or helicopters over specific locations.
You can fly freely anywhere in the network. The Archaic Air Series provide a structured progression, with completion tracked and recognized.
New routes are being added steadily, with dozens of Archaic Air Series in development.
This runs in MSFS 2024 and is built for those who take an interest in both aviation and the ground they’re flying over.
