Do I get / Can I use those planes in the 2020 edition?
Nope. These are exclusively for 2024.
Other way around works. Deluxe planes from 2020 are usable in 2024 and will eventually be upgraded to the 2024-specs.
But you get the same bugs from the standard edition for free

I pre-ordered the aviator edition on mistake(after a few beers). So far I am COMPLETELY DISSAPOINTED in the aviator “upgrade”. Almost ALL the planes that I paid a premium for have issues and are pretty much unflyable. I know things will get better but I feel pretty ripped off, especially at close to $300 bucks Canadian.
Take a lot of beers and you forget your mistake for a while.

Well I had had a couple of beers when I made the post, ty for the replies everyone.
Would really appreciate if MS would make the Aviator Edition planes available in MSFS 2020 for owners of the Aviator Edition. It should not be hard to achieve this and it would give Aviator Edition owners a sense of value for their money while 2024 is in the state it is in. At least we could use these planes in 2020 then, which is working fine. These are all 2020 planes anyway, it is not like they were upgraded for 2024 in any way. We own these planes, so please let us use them in 2020 as well.
