Genuinely speaking, that’s the only reason why I would want to play 2024. With how many problems that game is having, it would be great to play those missions in a better game.
This is not possible due to the deep embedding in the game code. Have you tried NeoFly?

Try. I’ve been using it a lot lately. (I even became a beta tester). Compatibility with 2024 was recently released.
(Using AI for avatars is a brilliant and fun idea. Anyway, it doesn’t bother)

On account of the purchase, I bought a bundle for $ 20 and did not regret it. In general, it gives you the opportunity to create your own airline. There are a lot of interesting things there that are not in the career at FS24. For example, flight attendants)
Of course, you can install the basic version. This is enough for a single career mode. And then decide for yourself whether it’s worth buying.
Just to clarify, NeoFly is free to download and play as a solo pilot career. All mission types are available.
If you want to unlock additional pilots or create an airline, you need to become a donor. One time payment. I paid $10 for the Pilot add-on for example.

The software crashes multiple times during a mission and you’re forced to restart it if it does lol
If helicopter missions are what you are looking for I can highly recommend the H145 with their action pack (https://www.hypeperformancegroup.com/). They have different, random generated missions, there is a very sophisticated, realistic HEMS mission generator by a user, there are logging missions for sling load jobs, and a very active support on Discord.

I hadn’t used ANY career apps in 2020 but started using NeoFly4 and I’ll be ■■■■■■ if the 2024 career mode is a canned and poorly flight-planned copy of it. Still getting used to it but lo and behold your own flight plans and stacking extra goodies in one trip is actually so much better. Just doesn’t have the whiz-bang add-ons to the aircraft 24 has, but you also aren’t expected to do bizarre convoluted geometric-shaped passes back and forth over the airport before final. If you want, you can break in and cheat your way into an unlimited licensed billionaire or grind it out.
Okay sorry, Linux moment. Everything seems to be working despite the UI scaling being bugged. (Yes, I followed the guide in the FAQ and am in 100% scaling. It’s still broken.)

I did some convoluted windows 11 scaling to 200% for apps and it looks better. On a 55" it was impossibly enormous with just system scaling. As an aside with neofly if you want to grind just start with deejings RV7. Blisteringly fast you can do three missions to one over the usual choices. And easy on the frames I was screaming fps butter smooth at 400/200 ultra 4k with fsltl, gaist, birds, hd trees, etc… 2020 is running like a scalded dog lately
Do you have Linux?
Yes but I dual boot to W11 in case it’s needed. MSFS works fine on Proton but I guess NF doesn’t.
I’m on 27’ monitors, I can’t set them to 200% scaling
