Are there any YouTube channels that are doing deep dives on individual airplanes?

Unfortunately, I have noticed that a lot of content creators while looking at a new plane will say things during the quick look like… Here’s this feature but we’re not gonna go over that because I’ll tell you about it later when we go through the plane in depth… But then proceed to never revisit the plane and or deeply go over it’s systems.

For example, there’s like a thousand videos about the darkstar but not one of them touches what to do in a flameout.

So my question is, does anyone know of any YouTube channels that go in depth on these planes? Maybe even talk about their history? I know I’ve seen one that always started with a brief overview of the addons real life counterpart. But they seemingly fell off the map.

@FilbertFlies is the best one I know of,

He goes through from cold and dark to shutdown (and everything in between). Also known for getting real world pilots on his stream of those aircraft to walk through it.

Hi Folks,

Please do not post messages in #community:content-creators unless you meet the requirements. We reserve that space specifically for the creators themselves. General inquiries like this belong in #community:general-discussion-feedback which is where this was moved. Thanks!

Into the Blue Simulations Real life Airbus driver. Excellent reviews.

I’ve yet to see a review that covers everything. To be fair to the creators they focus on how they fly so if you are the same as them the video might give you what you need. Personally I don’t need or want to see a training video but one that shows every aspect of the aircraft to help with a purchase decision. This is where they never spend enough time for me. For aircraft operation the real and if provideded dev manuals tell you a lot of what you need to know.

I’ve found Fly From Home very informative:

For the longest time I avoided channels about the real airplanes thinking they would be too complicated or have too many differences.

However, watching them opened my eyes to how good the sim really is.

I picked up some good auto pilot and procedures topics from watching a guy demonstrate in a real Bonanza G36 equipped with a G1000 NXi. I knew where every button and switch was located. It was so familiar.

I also realized how confused real pilots can sometimes be about these systems too.

Same with pilot forums too. You can see pilots arguing about the same things people on here argue about.

There are some aircraft systems videos on my channel from default aircraft to add on aircraft. I am a former flight instructor and an 8,000 hour Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) rated professional pilot that creates YouTube videos as a hobby.

The COMPLETE TBM 930 Tutorial - All Buttons And Switches Explained - YouTube

Working Title CJ4 Systems and Avionics Explained - Professional Pilot- Microsoft Flight Simulator - YouTube - Currently flying a slightly larger Citation with identical avionics as the CJ4 in MSFS (Collins Pro Line 21).

Here is a channel intro: Learn To Fly Here - New Channel Intro - YouTube

Aircraft Basics using the Cessna 152: The Complete Cessna 152 Tutorial | Aircraft Basics | Interior and Exterior - YouTube - A Cessna 152 pilot operating handbook was used to make this video and the Cessna 152 was the first airplane I instructed in.

There is also content on my channel showing how to do every type of instrument approach and subjects such as VNAV: How To Use VNAV - Arrivals, Departures, and ILS Approaches - Microsoft Flight Simulator - YouTube

Unfortunately, these videos could be all be more in-depth but only go as far as MSFS will allow due to the simulator’s limitations.

Sorry about that, I usualy don’t venture far out of gen and 3rd party airplains lol

It can be confusing where to post some times. Often the topics don’t make sense but the mods are helpful to keep it organized.
