Are there crash logs to find whats causing a CTD?

I just had 3 crashes in a row taxiing at YSSY on VATSIM. I have no idea why suddenly my sims started crashing, nothing new has been added.

Is there any logs anywhere that I can extract to have someone look at?

My way of finding the error is to use Event viewer to then copy the error code into the forums page to search for the culprit. From Zendesk when I used to experience several CTD’s:

How to generate a MsInfo

Open a Run command box. To do so, press the Windows key and R key at the same time.

Alternatively, search “Run” in your Start menu’s search bar.

In the Run window’s dialog box, type msinfo32 and click OK.

When the System Information window opens, give it a moment to pull information from your system. You’ll know it’s done when you click through the menus on the left and see information for each of them.

Click File, then Export

Do not choose File, then Save as. This will create a very large file that you may not want on your system, and our system has a file size limit that might reject it.

Name your file something simple, like “mymsinfo”, and make sure it’s saved as a text (.txt) file.

Save the exported file on your Desktop or your My Documents folder.

It can take a minute or two for the file to export and save.

Attach this file to your response.

How to generate a DxDiag

In Windows, select Start and enter “dxdiag” into the search box on the taskbar. Select dxdiag from the results.

In the tool, click on ‘Save All Information’ and wait a few seconds

Save the file as a ‘Text File (*.txt)’ on your desktop

Attach the file to your response.

How do i generate one on Xbox?

You can’t unfortunately.

No crash logs that I’m aware of, and the Event Viewer entries for the crashes provide little to no info. One additional thing you can do is enable Simconnect logging, which may provide some info in the event of a crash. Here’s how to do that-

I myself like going to:

Control Panel → System and Security → Security and Maintenance → Reliability Monitor

It gives me a better oversight if other programs are involved if I’m experiencing crashing or CTD’s. Double clicking any “Critical Event” gives you a breakdown similar to Event Viewer.
I also use @forzakingfam 's method to aid in decoding the diagnosis. Discovered a lot in the past year.

I really like your method actually; it seems much easier than my method as it also outlines details that would be generated from the dxdiag. Thanks for this method!

Same thing over here.
