Are Tobii Eye Trackers ever likely to be supported on Xbox?

I hear they have a new product out but again no Xbox support, any reasons as to why these products aren’t already supported by the platform and rumors if they ever will be?

Heard about the trick where you tape a $10 air mouse to the top of your over the ear headphones but haven’t tried it lol

Hi there,
The #gd-commsupport:tech-talk category is for discussion of all things tech, including peripherals such as eye trackers. I have moved your topic.

Here is a quick list of subcategories and what they mean:

  • Aircraft
is where you discuss current or future planes coming to MSFS.
  • World
is where you discuss scenery, airports, and weather.
  • Aviate, Navigate, Communicate
is where you ask for help with flying.
  • Tech Talk
is where you discuss graphics, drivers, installation, performance, CTDs, and hardware.
  • Menus & Activities
is where you discuss activities (landing challenges, bush trips, etc), plus anything accessed through the menus including the Marketplace, settings, logbook, cameras, etc.

yeah im interested in this as well…

I emailed Tobii a few months ago and they said they had no plans to work with the Xbox platform unfortunately.

dangit.. thanks for telling me though, ik my response was pretty delayed lol

I was seriously hoping an announcement soon of the Tobii head tracker becoming compatible with Xbox especially now that it’s natively supported in MSFS2024 SU3 but I guess I can keep on dreaming.
