ASK 21 Glider

In the MSFS 2024 aircraft selection menu, the ASK 21 glider is in the OTHER category, not in the GLIDER category. So you there is no keybind available for tow/winch release in the control settings. You must release the cable manually in the cockpit with the mouse.

It is not possible, to do a proper winch launch. The rope slows down and the glider will mostly stall… :thinking:

I cant remember the exact details as it was a while ago, but I’m sure I went into the ASk 21 .cfg file and amended the aircraft to ‘Glider’.

I think I looked at the cfg folder of another glider and found the relevant bit to change.

Any plans to add imperial instruments?

You have to click on the registration plate.
