Asobo 737 Max 8 VNAV climb will overspeed into barberpole up around 35,000 feet

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
The Asobo 737 Max 8 will get overspeed during VNAV climb when up around 35,000 feet, N1 mode is ON but the climb is not steep enough to maintain target speed

FREQUENY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
Every Time using VNAV climb

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. setup Asobo 737 Max 8 for a longer route (you’ll need time to climb very high), set cruise up around FL410, CI doesn’t seem to matter, have tried 5-200. Fuel load doesn’t seem to matter (heavy or light).

  2. take off (have used TO, TO-1, TO-2), I start climb in LVL CHG mode to keep speed well under 250, at 10k feet switch to VNAV mode (737 will accelerate nicely and climb)

  3. up around 35,000 feet or so watch the speed carefully and note that the plane will not be climbing sufficiently to maintain the FMS target speed (magenta bug) and the speed will climb well into the barber pole range if you let it.
