Asobo ATR 42-600/72-600

@HXArdito , Do we have any idea when the ATR will be released today?

It also came with 481 page manual!

If you guys speak german, i can only recommend this flightsim podcast, in this episode from 2020 they have Hans Hartmann as a guest, and they talk about the ATR Toilet feature from back then

Usually they release early morning Seattle time, late morning Eastern time, late afternoon in Europe.

Like me, you’d better hope they include ANZ, Binter, Air Europa Express and Canaryfly from the outset! I’m really not sure if they’ll release just the aircraft or a bunch of accompanying liveries. If we do get liveries, I imagine ANZ and Binter would be high priorities as their natural habitats are conducive to ATR flying. Possibly Olympic too (Sky Express would be nice but I doubt there’ll be two Greek airlines right away). I’m also hopeful they’ll do the British/Irish airlines too: Aer Lingus Regional, Aurigny, Loganair, Blue Islands, Eastern Airways — although I suspect Lingus is the only one I can realistically expect upon release.

Given today’s WU13, I also think we’ll likely see a Pacific regional airline included.

Thanks so much!

Yes but to be honest, any today’s potential lack of liveries can’t spoil the fun for me. I can fly a white livery pretending I’m Binter :sunglasses: :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Over the past 2 weeks with regards to issues they identified and if they sorted them

Yeah, Asobo mentioned it during the stream, that they are fighting the whole time to convince ATR to allow them to make failures, but it’s a hard fight for obvious reasons

Would appreciate when it releases someone having a look what liveries it comes with if any

Would this plane load the MSFS flight plan you make in the planning menu? Or hard to say at the moment.

good question

In this post you will find several ATR routes for your pleasure:

For me, Canary Islands with Binter and Oregon with Fedex/Empire Airlines

i cant say for sure, but i assume it does not. As it seems to use custom systems. Unless the deal was that it has to work, forced by Asobo. I really hope this is not the case, because this would indicate that there are likely some shortcomings in the FMC/navigation system.

You’ll be able to see what liveries are with it yourself in the MP

Or the option in the FMS to disable it :innocent: sometimes I just like to take off instead of typing for 20 minutes :face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth:
