ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: The TACAN course selection doesn’t work, but on MSFS2020 it was working.
Maybe the problem is that the course selection doens’t work?
I doubt that because the “TACAN” icon isn’t displayed on the HSI

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue: F/A-18 Super Hornet

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? Every time

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Start the F-18 near a TACAN
  2. Select the channel on the panel, for example on Albacete is 17X
  3. Select TCN mode on HSI
  4. See how moving the course selector does nothing, no lines displayed on the HSI, nothing
  5. Repeat the same on MSFS2020 and see how it works

Still not working on last update 1.2.7.0
(just checked to see if it was fixed by magic despite not being addressed on the patch notes)

I concur and I also have the exact same issue. I bought FS2024 yesterday (Premium Deluxe Edition) and I installed it today, so I figure that I must have the latest version installed.

Tried with Trenton, Ontario, Canada - TACAN (34X - UTR) while flying the Super Hornet and it like with the OP it didn’t work. In my case it’s even worse since absolutely no data TACAN appears on the HSI. It’s not only the needles, it’s everything that doesn’t show up. More precisely when pressing the TCN button on the HSI (with the TACAN ON) nothing shows on HSI.

EDIT:
Now I tried with Cold Lake, Alberta, Canada - TACAN (82X - UOD) and I have the exact same issue that the OP reported - Cold Lake TACAN data information does show up on the HSI (as opposed to Trenton TACAN) but the course needle cannot be set.

So due to this issue, it seems I found an even worse (IMO) issue where there’s a problem with Trenton, Ontario TACAN (34X - UTR) that it doesn’t seem to show on any aircraft’s TACAN system.

I believe it’s the same issue that 2020 has, in that tacan channels only function in the USA.

I tested it on 2020 the same day and on 2020’s F18, same TACAN works there
