There is also a wishlist item to have this functionality returned:

Support smaller minimum text size

In MSFS2024, Accessibility > User interface and font, the Minimum Text Size I can set is 18, which is too big for me. Can we have support for smaller values please? Screen res is 7680x2160 with windows Display Settings Scaling set to 125% (Although still seems to be 18 even if set to 100%).
