Looks wonderful. I remember all the amazing planetery imagery taken with 1m telescope from there.

And deep deep in my dreams I hope for an Sofia emulation here in the sim so I can finaly sell my backyard observatory for flightsim stuff :telescope: :arrow_forward: :airplane: :heart_eyes:

A scene from the Pic du Midi is included in the update IV France Benelux.
For information, this is not my scene, but the resemblance is uncanny

Hi,
The Pic du Midi de Bigorre Astronomical Observatory stage will be available for free during the week on the Flightsim.to website.
It removes the buildings and the ugly rocks included in the France and Benelux update.
The scene includes the Observatory site conforming to reality with four animated dome, realistic night lighting, a hard surface for helicopters, the cable cars, cables and the Taoulet intermediate station as well as the surroundings of the Col du Tourmalet.
In order to have a better rendering, terraforming was carried out around the Observatory.
