me too…massive lags with tractor…i have a perfect pc… and even with the 737 max i have 100 fps

Thanks at least I am happy to learn that I am not the only one here.
This prevents me from doing the firefighting missions as the experience is really bad.
To provide a little bit more information on the his really strange behaviour, I have activated gsync and activating variable frame rates on my MSI 144hz monitor which provides me with a super smooth experience (all aircraft expect the tractor)details in ultra with full traffic, something I could never have in FS2020.

Where I should be steady at 60fps, as soon as I takeoff the fps start slowly to drop: 58, 56, 55, 53,52 and stary around the 50s.
fps is one thing, the lags are something else.
If I remove my fps cap, remove gsync, I start the flight at around 130 fps and then it starts dropping slowly down to around 110fps with a lot of lags which makes it unplayable.
I wonder why then when I cap at 60fps, I go down to the 50s where if I do not cap, I am around 110fps…
Again, only with this aicraft.
I reinstalled, default settings, no community nothing and still the same…

reinstalled also for me…but nothing
edit: i talked with my friends…it seems that on amd it is less evident…
i have intel i9 and nvidia and only with this aircraft i have massive lag
i tried with previuos drivers…nothing…
the latest for fs24…nothing
my pc is clean

i found the problem @md7742
…the tractor is bad optimized…
here the draco with few cfd…when i go vertical they disappear for a moment and the sim is very smooth but it’s also smooth by default…

this is with tractor…a lot of cfd…massive sttuter when i perform thight turns (the strange things is that fps remain high with dynamic settings in graphics)

when i go vertical the cfd disappear for 5 seconds and the sim is ultra smooth…i have a 4080 super and i9 and the other user have a 4090
When i finish the loop the cfd appear again and the stutters start

The same problem appear also with the fire variant…
the tractor is bad optimized in terms of cfd that cause stuttering…fix this…please…i tried even the 737 max 8 and i have 100 fps super smooth…this is the unique aicraft with problems in terms of performance

ultra massive stuttering

no clue with very low graphics…
the issue is …
too much cfd contact points…reduce it

Thanks a lot amazing analysis !!
Did not think about displaying cfd !!

And that explains why it is super smooth on the ground and happens just as I pull for takeoff ! You’re a genius

fyi issue remains after today’s patch.

Thanks…and i noticed that it wasn’t fixed…but we should wait for week or 9 dec.
Yes it explain why is super smooth on ground…you can test by yourself…
Start in flight with tractor…enable cfd…make a loop and when in vertical they disappear and suddenly the earth rotate super smoothly…when you complete the loop they reappear and suddenly the stuttering
I think its easy to correct
I don’t know if they have a slider on a 3d graphics app…or should code this…but i think it’s easy

Thanks @Luigipsi !
I think this must affect everyone using this plane.
I did not see, except you, anyone complaining about this.
May be this does not happen for everyone and if it is case it is hard to understand why…

Take care

My friends have amd and are less affected…may be the cpu or gpu can afford better that situation
But is true that obviously the cfd contact points are exaggerated

Unfortunately we do not have yet the tag bug-logged on this report !
We may need more votes !!!

if people try the tractor may be more users will leave a feedback

I tried to replicate this, I wasn’t successful, unfortunately. With 4080.

Did you try the steps to reproduce? In alternative…you can go inverted
The cfd are huge compared to all aircraft
The is the unique aircraft bad optimized…is obiouvsly…with omall the others ai reach 100 120 fps…but is not the fps…is the stuttering caused by huge cfd contact points

Reporting the same. For me it performs in a weird way, where the fps counter does not indicate the frame rat drop, but doing steep turns, and the frame rate “lag” is very noticeable, while flying straight and level with small turns keeps the frame rates smooth.

Try performing a loop…when in the top of it the cfd disapeear and the sim is super smooth
Vote!

Same for me…steep turns and the lag occurs

i think the insane amount of adverse yaw in the plane may be explained here - this aircraft is known for being the best balanced of all of the airtractor series, the adverse yaw in this thing is way over-modeled.
