At slower speeds (take-off, approach, GA and military aircraft controls are overly sensitive and have bizarre stall behaviors

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

At slower speeds, in particular take-off / landing the F18 and many GA aircraft (like the Diamond 40ng) have overly sensitive controls, and pitch up very unrealistically and feel “twitchy”.

YOUR SETTINGS

I’m using default curves and very simple control settings with my Hotas Set-up. VKB Gladiator NXT joystick.

EDIT: I tested the C 172 between FS2020 and FS2024 because others pointed out that my military jet comparisons weren’t accurate or fair, the conclusion is mostly the same, I don’t think the C172 in FS2024 is reacting correctly to a full back deflection, way too sensitive and unrealistic nose up at the sky:

DCS vs MSFS pitch up behavior at approach speeds: https://www.reddit.com/r/flightsim/comments/1hf8qg3/dcs_vs_msfs_2024_flight_model_part_2_f18_low/

less fair, but F16 (which is not ready for 2024) is much much worse:

If anyone is interested I posted a more apples apples comparison (link in the above ticket). Comparing Cessna 172 flight model in 2020 and 2024… the theme is similar. 2024 seems overly sensitive flight model wise
