Two questions really so hoping someone can help and advise.
I’m getting some flying practice in on the Inibuilds A320v2 which I like to start from cold and dark. What I’ve noticed is that in this aircraft I don’t seem to be able to hear ATC in response to my request. If I go to the toolbar and select ATC I have to read what ATC are wanting me to do. I’m sure it’s a setting somewhere I may have changed but can’t figure out what and how to get the ATC sounds back.
I’ve tried it also starting on runway but still the same.
Is the lack of AI moving aircraft normal? My airport that I fly from EGPH has some static aircraft but I’ve never seen any aircraft taxing or taking off. I’ve tried changing it to live but doesn’t seem to make much difference. Don’t think I’ve ever had to hold short to wait for another on final. Just seems all a bit quiet. I have airport vehicles set to 100%
Regarding the ATC and the radios in the A320, first you need the CALL button to be selected. Then under the CALL button, there is a volume knob, which needs to be pushed in (which lights up the knob), then turn the volume up until you can hear ATC.
For your second question about AI traffic, if you’re on PC, have a look at FSLTL. It’s freeware and injects traffic into the sim based off flightradar24. Download the FBW installer as it’s part of that https://flybywiresim.com/a32nx/
Ah right, well keep an eye on JustFlight as they are trying to bring their FS Traffic pack to Xbox. It’llbe payware but the quality of it should be worth it.
