Brief description of the issue:
When I taxi from a gate or parking and hold short of the runway and request takeoff remaining in the pattern, ATC clears me for touch and go.
Detail steps to reproduce the issue encountered:
Taki from gates or parking requesting normal taxi clearances. Hold short of the runway, tune to tower. Request takeoff, remain in pattern.
