Brief description of the issue:

I’m not normally using ATC but started to do so as the takeoffs are not counted in the logbook if I don’t request ground clearence. While I can hear the ATC talk to the other traffic i can sometimes hear the “heavy” call on operators like Ryanair, Southwest, Wizzair, etc.

Are they possibly players? I always forget mine when I turn it on. Then when I am landing my Cessna 172 and hear them call me heavy it makes me chuckle.

And the game replaces a huge amount of planes with an a380 which is in fact a “heavy” so it might just be that.

That’s possible. Anyway, it’s a bit funny thinking Ryanair to operate the a380 irl hahaha

Can confirm, on Xbox X, no addons. I am usually flying the 787 and most of the traffic is currently Cessna 172 Skyhawk planes, at airline flight levels, while ATC addresses them as airliners, and quite a few with “heavy”.

They’re probably players that have forgotten to uncheck “heavy” in their settings. The game doesn’t change your call stuff between aircraft unless you set it yourself. Like I said above, I’ve been flying around in a small plane being called heavy many times lol

I can also confirm this issue - especially at LAX there are many flights (e.g. from FlexJet, so general aviation) which are called “heavy”. Other flights like Southwest are handled without “heavy” correctly.

Noticed this once today.
I dont have multiplayer, so confirmed AI live traffic.
