I wonder why it worked for me without having to unblock that dll. I don’t even have that unblock button.
I was able to reproduce this. Many of us are probably using 7Zip to unzip the zip file. If you do it that way then none of the DLLS’s or the EXE get blocked. However, if you just open the zip file with Windows Explorer and just copy the FS-ATC-Chatter folder to your hard drive Windows will mark all the DLL’s and the EXE as a potential security risk because StickandRuddersStudios.com in not in your trusted site list.
I also suspect that most of you had tell Windows Defender that it was OK to run FS-ATC-Chatter.exe when you extracted it like that.
We should have this fixed in beta 5. We just need to figure out what they best way to handle it is. In the meantime just unblock it using the properties as mentioned above.

Installation
- Download the archive from the above link
- Extract the archive to the hard drive you want to run FS-ATC-Chatter on
- Read the User Guide in the extracted folder
- There is no installer so just run the file FS-ATC-Chatter.exe

- Fixed a bug where the Nearest Facility window would not stay on top of other windows when stay on stop was selected

And for me it doesn’t work at all and I don’t have an unlocked file either … what a shame old work, I hear nothing at all, the fs 2020 has to run? But even there it doesn’t work !!
So I start “FS-ATC-Chatter.exe” as normal and I don’t hear anything. Sound card is selected and it says simulator: connected although the sim is not running. when it runs it’s the same … I don’t hear anything !!!
Are the radios powered up? Can you share a screen shot of the control panel?

Take a look at the FAQ, it might give you and idea why you don’t hear chatter.
A screen shot would be helpful to diagnose your problem.

Awesome @UpmostSquire826! By the way, I was wondering, would you guys develop something like x-camera for MSFS? 
Love this addon @UpmostSquire826, however, I’m finding that when using airliners the app doesn’t seem to recognise whether there is power in the aircraft or not. Not a deal-breaker as I just use the check box but as I didn’t see it in your FAQ, I thought I’d let you know!
It is the the last FAQ, Why Don’t I hear chatter. Can you verify you can see that FAQ on the page. Maybe I need to make it more prominent. Please let the airliner designer know that they are not properly maintaining the radio power status for SimConnect.
Lastly, can post which planes you are having this problem with. I’m curious how prevalent it is.

I’m going to experiment with the camera API over the next month to see if it would support something like X-Camera. I heard from the Chase Plane team that they heard from Asobo that it was pretty locked down at the moment.

So I tested it again exactly, now it works, I hear something … great. But I have two more questions. 1. Do I always have to select the radios (center, tower use.) Myself as I like, or can this also be done automatically? 2. Does the chatter not (yet) stop when fs2020 answers, so radio is intended for me. Or have I set something wrong? I’ve tried everything Dutch so far. Thanks in advance LG Rolando

When you have automatic controllers enabled FS-ATC-Chatter expects you to tune the radios just like you would in real life. You can tune them using NearBy Facility list or more commonly using the cockpit radio manipulators. A possible future enhancement would be for FS-ATC-Chatter to auto tune the radios from ground to tower as you approach your departure runway, etc.
Optionally you can turn off Automatic controllers and then just map a joystick button to advance you to the next controller. Not very Real-World like but you don’t have to fuss with the radios.
I have a request in to Asobo to add some visibility in SimConnect as to when the simulator is trying to talk on the radio. This would allow us to pause the chatter during that time. I’m hoping that Asobo will add that as we have that capability in X-Plane.

Thank you very much for the quick reply. It’s a great product and I’ll buy the x-plane version so that I can have the Europe Chatter as I mostly fly in Europe! Super hope it will be further developed with the stop talking when fs2020 gets in touch!
The clips collection is exactly the same between FS-ATC-Chatter and X-ATC-Chatter as outlined in the FAQ.
You do not need to buy both FS-ATC-Chatter and X-ATC-Chatter if you are flying both sims. Just buy one or the other and use the clip collection in the other player.
You can download both players for free.
