ATC does not use the metric system in China

In real life in China, atc gives altitude in meters and surface wind speed in m/s. In msfs however, the default atc gives the altitude in feet and wind speed in knots, which is inaccurate and should be fixed.

If this were the only problem with ATC I could live with it. I am more concerned with ATC vectoring me into mountains all the time

Yeah, and ATC also uses inHg and the same trans alt everywhere around the world too. Which is a related issue.

I don’t know how pilots enter metric altitude assignments in the middle of the flight in real life. I’m not sure if A320 has a metric mode for the FCU, only on the PFD. Do they have to look at a conversion table or something?
