Hey guys,
I observed quite a lot of ghost ATC com going on.
AI traffic, flying right above the airport in circles, planced check in to land, but never got to the airport, other planes were told to exit the runway as after touchdown but no previous com and no plane on the runway…
any ideas?

Yes, I confirm this. I use real-time traffic and I see that some planes appear silently and they are not marked. Some are doing circles - I think they are helos in reality. In Dubai, some small 2-engined planes stay at gates where only A-380 or B-777 usually parks. One time ATC forgot me during my approach. However, I like to have this feature “from the box”.
I’ve seen this, too.
The AI is strange in that it appears if an airplane can’t accomplish the intended maneuver, the game simply removes it after a short time.
Last night I watched an AI aircraft get clearance for the same RNAV approach I was on, except the plane tried to get to the RNAV transition and couldn’t, so it circled and then disappeared.
The night before I saw an aircraft come in for landing but another plane in front had landed a few minutes before, but wasn’t clear of the runway (super common problem) and so the one on final was told to go around and it circled the airport at 500’ AGL trying to get back into the final approach and couldn’t, so it disappeared after 10ish minutes.
AI definitely isn’t that great when it can’t do what it’s supposed to. It doesn’t recover well.
