ATC gives constant new Altitudes

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
(In Career-Mode) ATC gives you with an IFR-flightplan constant new altitudes and request you to climb higher and higher. It is NOT the fault, the barometer is set wrong. ATC constantly ask to climb 200 ft higher and higher.

F.e. With the Cessna 172 i should go up to FL 340 and even higher and higher.

The only way to stop this is, to cancel IFR.

After requesting IFR clearance again, it starts again with constant new altitudes.

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:
Multiple planes

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

Mutiple times

The only way to stop this bug is to completely restart FS2024 and try again.

In free flight i had to fly the 172 to 38000 ft while i setup the flight alt to 5000 preflight.. In msfs24 it cannot seem to follow the preplanned route and it cannot seem to follow ATC. The preflight efb is completily changed at the inflight efb. I cannot get my head around why this sim is so out of order at my side and i see all easy flying on all youtube channels. I really thinking of going back to 2020 atm

• This happened to me in free flight with the Cirrus SR22T.

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• I created an IFR flight plan in the EFB before beginning the flight. I took off from uncontrolled airport MMCG. In the air, I requested flight following, then requested IFR clearance with my flight plan. Flight plan was filed for 10000 ft. ATC directed me to 12000. I could only respond “Say again” or agree to the altitude change. Immediately after accepting new altitude, ATC directed me to 14000. Then 16000, on and on up to FL460, when I finally gave up with ATC. I never got a chance to request a lower altitude or cancel IFR because ATC would immediately issue a new altitude as soon as I acknowledged the previous assignment.

Repro step: doesn’t have to be in Career Mode, this will happen in IFR Free Flight as well.

Same problem with VRF flight in free flight. Constant change of altitude request.

Asking for 10k, get it approved, instantly asks me to climb to 11k.

The fact that a flight simulator doesn’t know how high different planes can go (No pressurization) and that the ATC doesn’t care, blows my mind :joy:

Especially during missions where you have to follow what ATC says, come on?

Happened to me 2 days ago. On my way back up the game told me I was over speeding and blew my mission - sigh!

•Had this just now in the Caravan Medevac mission. Kept telling me to climb in increments of 3000 until it was 103,000ft. If you ignore it just keeps giving you “Missed ATC”. I wasn’t about to have my rep trashed but I was 3 hours into my mission. PLEASE FIX THESE ATC bugs!! Having nightmares with career since SU3. This game is broken.
